Common Questions

1. How do I use TreeRings?

Open the app, take a clear photo of a tree cross-section, and mark the center of the rings. TreeRings will estimate the age and show yearly growth variation.

2. My photo doesn’t give a result. What should I do?

Make sure the image is well-lit, in focus, and shows visible rings. Try again under better lighting conditions.

3. How is my data handled?

TreeRings does not collect, store, or share personal data. All processing happens locally on your device.
